We've had so much faith and hope, and need to regain it after seeing this picture. Pam and I are going to fast from Thursday lunch to Friday lunch to see if we can get some increased understanding of where to go from here. We can't have the entire summer's efforts go up in smoke! Please pray with us, that everyone involved can be inspired to know how to proceed. And if you'd like to join us in our fast, please do.The outer cosmetic changes are a nice side benefit, but our whole purpose was to establish a permanent airway. Dear Lord, help us get that airway back, please!

When we were in Sunday School three weeks ago, we talked about how Abraham gave Issac up to God's providence as an act of faith and God honored that trust. It is always hard for me to remember that God the Father is able to love and care for my children more than I ever will be-especially since my will is so infrequently His- but I hope that knowing He cares for Katie helps bring you peace. We will definitely keep praying for you, and I hope that your fast helps bring clarity.

That is scary! I hope they can get the airway back! I been thinking a lot about Katie! She is a really lovely young lady. We need more ladies like her in this world!
